6. Will my procedure by very painful?
Dr. Maddahi strives to get as close as possible to achieving pain-free dentistry. He uses high-powered blasts of air, similar to sand blasting, instead of metal drills, virtually eliminating the pain involved with removing pieces of tooth. Another pain decreasing tool Dr. Maddahi uses is called The Wand. It uses a micro-compressor to very slowly inject the anesthetic, so the patient feels only a bit of pressure, but no pain. There are many other devices and unique procedures Dr. Maddahi uses that greatly decrease the pain his patients feel.
